The Principal of the kindergarten, Kadrie Asllani said that this kindergarten is continuing with the good job in educating children and now it has 75 children from 9 months to 6 years of age, where 13 educators take care of them.
“Botanika” is the first community-based kindergarten and since its opening, four more were opened, whereas three others are under construction. These kindergartens are headed by parent’s council of the neighborhood, while the Municipality of Pristina subsides parents whose income is less than 1,000 euros with 50% of the price, besides building, adapting and suppling them.
Today, The Mayor of Pristina Municipality, Shpend Ahmeti attended to the first anniversary of “Botanika” kindergarten, the first community-based kindergarten in Pristina.
