Prishtina: A meeting was held with the representatives of the Energy Community Treaty (ECT), Simon Uzunov and Roland Matous. The meeting was held with the aim of reviewing the progress achieved in Kosovo in the last six months, with regard to the fulfillment of obligations deriving from the Energy Community Treaty.
On this occasion, Deputy Minister of Energy, Blerim Rexha, assured the representatives of the ECT that Kosovo institutions, and particularly MEM, are working hard in meeting the ECT obligations. “I assure you that MEM is seriously engaged in fulfilling obligations deriving from ECT, so that we are steps closer to aims, namely European Union (EU)”, said Rexha.
A topic of the meeting was also customer services and customer protection, and renewable energy. ECT representatives were informed about the Kosovo achievements in meeting ECT obligations, and the assessment was that the last six months were a success.
On the other hand, Simon Uzunov expressed his pleasure with the achievements in the energy sector, as well as with the engagement of the Kosovo institutions in meeting ECT obligations. The meeting was also attended by representatives of KOSTT, ERO, and KEK. The meeting was organized by the Office for European Integrations of MEM.
